allround ceramics – autumn wednesday mornings – advanced
8 weeks semester classes start on 23st of September. (early bird price is valid only until the end of june)
If you have already started with ceramics and want to learn different techniques or advanced applications of hand building, this class is especially for you. This class is also very good to polish your know-how and take new challenges. We cover a wide range of techniques for you to develop your skills. You will have a personalised learning in a group of participants with a guidance tailored to your individual skill levels and interests.
Things to note:
- Hands-on learning: You can be sure that at end of the semester, you will have many pieces completed.
- You will feel confident and relaxed in creative and friendly environment.
- We will start to understand the nature of clay and start to develop a holistic exploration. After this semester you can be an independent and confident potter.
- You will have a chance to continue with our open studio very confidently.
- The price of the class includes all materials, including clay, tools, and glazes, as well as firing services.
- The pieces produced at the first 6 weeks and will be fired and glazed at last 2 sessions.
- Please keep in mind that it’s more about the experience; free your mind, lower your expectations and focus on the experience. We guarantee you will enjoy it!
- It takes 2 weeks for your pieces to be fired related with the traffic at the studio.
- After firing, we keep pieces at the studio for max 3 months.

I´m Özlem, the founder of commonroom and an architect. I have been working with clay for over 20 years and have given numerous workshops and classes. I enjoy my ceramic classes and gathering around creativity and the human connection.
