potter´s wheel march
On your first visit on Monday , you’ll dive into the basics of working with the potter’s wheel—learning to center the clay, open it, lift the walls, and shape your very own bowl or cup. In your second session on Wednesday, you’ll explore the art of trimming, decorating, and adding handles to your creation if you’d like. Once your piece has dried and been fired, you can return during Open Studio hours to glaze it with a color of your choice, bringing your masterpiece to life.
Things to note:
- You will feel confident and relaxed in creative and friendly environment.
- You will have a chance to continue with open studio.
- The price of the class includes all materials, including clay, tools, and glazes, as well as firing services.
- Please keep in mind that it’s more about the experience; free your mind, expectations and focus on the experience.
- It takes 2 weeks for your pieces to be fired related with the traffic at the studio.
- After firing, we keep pieces at the studio for max 3 months.

Marine is a certified potter from the Kohoutov school of Ceramics in the Czech Republic. She moved to Austria in 2022 and has her own small ceramic studio in St-Andrä-Wördern, where she teaches workhops for adults and children on a freelance basis. You can find her every Wednesdays afternoons for the Open Studio and Children Ceramics class. She teaches mainly in English or French.
