Commonroom offers a bright, calm, and versatile room available for rent — ideal for workshops, meetings, talks, and small private events. The space is designed for focus, creativity, and connection, and works especially well for formats that value participation, exchange, and presence. Our space is located Florianigasse 54 (corner Albertgasse), in the 8th district of Vienna. Easy public transportation access by subway U6, tramway 5, 33 and 2, bus 13A.
About the space
Our room is approximately 50 m² and thoughtfully set up to support a wide range of activities.
The space includes:
Barrier-free street access via Commoncafé
A back entrance with coat hangers and access to restrooms
Chairs (up to 40) and tables (80 × 180 cm, up to 4)
A cosy kitchen area with dishwasher, glasses, plates, basic cutlery, and white tablecloths
A kids-safe cutlery set (if needed)
A Bluetooth speaker
A calm, welcoming atmosphere

Room rental at Commonroom is flexible and scalable, depending on how long and how often you rent the space.
Rental starts at €80 per hour
The hourly rate decreases with longer bookings
Reduced rates are available for regular or recurring rentals
We’re happy to discuss your plans and find a fair solution — especially for workshops, courses, or ongoing formats.
Prices may vary depending on setup needs, catering options, and time of use. All details are discussed and confirmed in advance.
Food & café options
Commoncafé offers homemade, high-quality food made with healthy and mostly organic ingredients
Catering options can be discussed individually
Outside food may be consumed in the rented room
For larger groups, it is possible to rent the café exclusively, creating a private setting reserved only for your guests (upon request and agreement)
How renting works
The room can be rented for single events or recurring formats
Setup options and timing are discussed in advance
Access to the room is possible shortly before the booking time
The space should be left clean and in the condition it was found
Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the renter
