  1. Booking & Payment
    Classes have limited places and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
    A place is only secured once full payment has been received.
    A minimum of 5 participants is required to run a class.
    If fewer than 5 participants register, Commonroom reserves the right to cancel and issue a full refund.
  2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
    4+ weeks before class: 90% refund
    2+ weeks before class: 50% refund
    Less than 1 week before class or after class starts: No refund
    A refund may be issued at the organiser’s discretion when an official doctor’s note is provided.
    Once a class has begun, no refunds are offered unless a waiting list replacement is possible.
    Per Austrian law (§18 Abs 1 Z 10 FAGG), leisure activities on fixed dates are not subject to withdrawal rights.
  3. Arrival, Collection & Flow of Classes
    Please arrive 10 minutes early to support a calm class transition.
    Ensure smooth drop-off/pick-up to avoid disruptions to the running flow.
    If your child is late, absent, or needs early collection, inform us as soon as possible.
    If someone else is collecting your child, please notify the teacher in advance.
    For independent drop-off classes, children must be collected promptly.
    the cafe part is not a waiting room and the parents who wants to wait at cafe should consume some goods as customers.
  4. Belongings, Comfort & Clothing
    Please label all personal belongings.
    Participants may join classes (with their own tools/materials).
    Many workshops involve crafts, clay, or robots and may be messy.
    Please dress children appropriately or provide an old shirt/t-shirt.
  5. Health, Medical & Safety Information
    Teachers/assistants cannot administer medication.
    Parents must inform teachers of any relevant conditions (injuries, allergies, learning needs, emotional situations).
    Information is handled confidentially in line with GDPR (DSGVO).
    Parents/guardians remain responsible for ensuring their child is physically and emotionally fit to participate.
  6. Language & Support Needs
    Classes are conducted in English and German.
    If your child requires additional reassurance due to language or learning needs, please notify us in advance.
  7. Physical Contact Policy
    Minimal, appropriate physical contact may be used for teaching purposes
    (e.g., guiding hand placement, demonstrating posture).
    All contact is respectful and pedagogically necessary.
  8. Photography, Video & GDPR Compliance
    Photos taken by Commonroom
    May be used only for purposes directly related to the class, Commonroom, or partner teachers (e.g.EDA).
    Children will never be named publicly.
    Photos taken by parents
    Allowed only with explicit permission from Commonroom.
    Due to GDPR and safeguarding:
    Parents may not share photos/videos publicly
    (including social media, WhatsApp groups, websites, or email).
    If you don`t want your or your child´s photo to be shared or taken please inform.
  9. Liability
    Commonroom ensures safe facilities and age-appropriate materials.
    We are not liable for personal belongings brought to class.
    Liability does not apply where prohibited under Austrian consumer protection law or in cases of gross negligence.
